About this product
MINION Hair Milk is a scalp cream developed over about a year of trials under the supervision of Mr Kanno, owner of the hair salon Chalcedony and an instructor for certified hair diagnosticians. It went on sale in October 2018.
Despite the name “hair milk”, this product is for the scalp, not the hair itself. It gives moisture to the scalp and helps keep it in healthy condition.
What goes into it
- 3% hormesis minerals
- Silica — included as a moisturising ingredient
- Marula oil — a rare oil from the marula tree, known as the tree of the gods
- Lactobacillus ferment — from NS lactic acid bacteria discovered on the Mongolian steppe
- Natural yuzu scent — easy to wear for men and women alike
- No synthetic fragrance
- Made in our own factory
How to use
- After washing and towel-drying, work a suitable amount into the scalp
- Massage it in slowly with the pads of your fingers
- No rinsing needed
- We suggest using it two or three times a week
Please work it into the scalp rather than applying it to the hair.
How much is one pump
One pump of the 100ml bottle is about 0.5ml. The 3g sample pouch is enough for about three uses.

How it came about
It started when Mr Kanno of the hair salon Chalcedony told us he wanted to use MINION5 — originally developed for lymphatic massage — in head spa treatments. Hearing how well his clients received it, we asked him, as an instructor for certified hair diagnosticians, to supervise a formula made specifically for the scalp. That became MINION Hair Milk.
Caring for the scalp, the foundation the hair grows from, to keep it in healthy condition — many people who share that view have made this part of their routine.

A natural mineral powder of the kind known from bedrock bathing and radon hot springs.
Silica (silicon)
One of the essential minerals, and an ingredient long valued for skin and hair. Helps keep the skin moisturised.
Kaolin
A naturally occurring hydrated aluminium silicate. Among the gentlest of clays, it suits sensitive skin and children, and helps keep the skin moisturised.
Shea butter
Said to be a natural antioxidant and very rich in vitamin E. Rich in oleic acid, it moisturises well, holding moisture in the skin and leaving it feeling firm.
Hydrolyzed soy protein
A natural ingredient highly valued in hair care, helping to keep hair moisturised and in good condition. An Ecocert certified ingredient.
Yuzu peel oil
Moisturising and emollient, with a scent that helps you unwind.
Sclerocarya birrea seed oil (marula oil)
In Africa the marula is called the tree of the gods and was used in traditional medicine. Very rich in oleic acid, it sinks into the skin and moisturises well, keeping skin and hair looking glossy. A natural hair-conditioning ingredient.
Lactobacillus ferment
NS lactic acid bacteria discovered on the Mongolian steppe, with strong fermenting power. A natural moisturising ingredient.

STEP1
洗髪後、軽くタオルドライした髪にご使用ください。

適量を手に取り、頭皮にもみこむようにお使いください。
STEP3
その際、頭頂部に向かってマッサージしていただくと、よりリフトアップ効果があります。

ドライヤーでしっかりと乾かしてください。
